\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As a result of the endeavors of our foundation, The Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Institute for the History of Science in Islam and History of Science Department, affiliated to FSMVU, was established. An effort is made to create a model for the institutes, departments and chairs established or to be established with the same purpose in Islamic World, and to become a center to attract students and academics. The institute at the first stage gives preference to the history of Islamic sciences, and after completing its development it aims to be interested in history of science in general.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Institute for the History of Science \u0130n Islam will maintain and develop the scholarly approach of Fuat Sezgin, and continuously keep alive an ambiance for the training of the historians of science of international importance. It will also provide for the training of lecturers and teachers affiliated to the Ministry of National Education who will teach history of Islamic science, as well as managers, advisers and guides who are experts in their field.<\/span><\/p>\n
