The Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam gives a scholarship of 1.000 TL per month to the undergraduate students at the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, History of Science Department and 1.400 TL to the master of arts students at the FSMVU, The Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Institute for the History of Science in Islam. The university takes no education fees the undergraduate and graduate students. To provide the museum at Gülhane Park with new objects and maintain its development,

In cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, to endeavor to make History of Islamic Science an elective course in high schools, to put written and visual materials at the service of education,

To establish a history of science library of international importance, to put it at the service of all researchers and academics, and to ensure it continued.

To have the Geschichte des arabischen Schrifttums, which is the most complete and important work in its field written by Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin, translated the German original into Turkish, and likewise to have all Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin’s works and articles translated into Turkish, To hold national and international academic meetings, conferences and workshops concerning the history of sciences and contribute scientifically to the activities organized by other institutions.
